Contains resolutions and memorials adopted by the Grand Jury and bar of the U.S. District Court for the Territory of Nebraska, First Judicial District, Omaha, Nebraska Territory. The resolutions were adopted by the Grand Jury during the April 1860 term as an expression of appreciation for the services of Chief Justice Augustus Hall, U.S. Attorney L.L. Bowen, U.S. Marshal Willam A. West, and Clerk of the Court E.B. Chandler. The memorial and resolution were adopted by the bar following the death of Justice Hall on February 1, 1861.
